Performance Task:

You know that magnets can be used to move some
things without being touched. Your task in this activity is to use your knowledge of magnets and magnetism to design and make a toy,
game, or tool that uses magnets. You may use any common materials available to you. Some examples
of common materials are paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, metal, etc. Be creative and make your
object appealing. After you have made your object, write a few sentences describing your object and how
magnets were used. Discuss your design and how your object works.
