Performance Task:

As part of a school-to-work assignment, you are to
determine what cost of living is likely to be in 10 years. Using print and electronic reference
sources, develop a fact sheet on employment predictions about men &
women in 10 years. Also develop a
fact sheet on cost of living predictions and analyze the relationship of
the two. Using print and electronic
resources, find a model budget.
Choose a reasonable salary range for an occupation in which you are
interested and construct an annual and monthly budget for yourself.

student did not complete the task. The quality of the work does not
demonstrate good research skills.
1 POINT = Student completes half of the task. Student shows little
understanding of the research process.
0 POINTS
= The student fails to do
any part of the task. No research skills are evident and little effort for
the task.
