Performance Task:

You are going on a vacation to a destination of
your choice. Your teacher will give
you an exact amount of money to
spend. Determine your budget for
gas, lodging, food, sight seeing and any miscellaneous expenses.
Students will:

Make a realistic budget by researching actual costs.

Use the computer to make a pie chart showing the percentage of money
spent for each area.

Use the computer to make a bar graph showing a comparison of expenses in
each area.

Orally present the information and results found.
